'90 Euro Lumina vin "V" conversion

Well, I haven't really worked in my Lumina Euro conversion at all this week, but I decided to take some pictures to post. I did most of the swap in one weekend at my friend's uncle's shop(I bought the Lumina off of him for $200 with a blown 3.1). She runs and not to bad at all. I have to finish wiring a couple things yet. The only wiring changes I made so far where to the MAP sensor connector. I still have to change the EGR connector, extend the IAT sensor wires, and wire in the wastegate control solenoid. I also still have to finish the exhaust as the lumina didn't have all the same hangers that the TGP did. I'm going to take off the TGP tips as they sit a little bit under the bumper. I'm just going to put a short piece of pipe on each side to extend them the 2" or so longer that they need to be. I'll probably just keep it with the two pipes sticking out the back, it shouldn't look to bad. :P






After working out all of the bugs I'm going to go through and clean the whole car from top to bottom.

cool. i was gonna do mine but found a 3.4 and sold all my turbo stuff. my 3.1 wasnt blown but the tranny was on its way out so either way i needed a trans, and my donor car came with a good one.

I'd rather bring my TGP, but maybe I'll take the Lumina. I'll have to see how my TGP turns out, or how the Lumina turns out for that matter.
