How can I tell which intake I have and the year it is from? I bought the engine complete with FI and wiring harnesses, I was told that it was a 3100 out of a '99 lumina but the UIM says 3400 on it. How can I tell what the LIM is? I will get some pics of it. Any help will be appreciated.

Well, it will either be a 3400 lower or a 00+ 3100 lower. But they are the same, so its a mute point. The 3400 upper won't bolt to an old style lower, so that rules that out.-Brad-

also, the LIM has the last two digits of the year cast into it, if it says '99+ it's the same for both the 3100 and the 3400N-body enthusiast:
{'87 Grand Am SE - 3.0 90* v6} / {'93 Grand Am LE - 3.3 90* v6}
{'98 Grand Am SE - 2.4 Q4} / {'99 Grand Am GT1 - 3400 60* v6}
