For some reason any time I turn to the right while on the gas she starts to sputter out. Second gear too. When I am gunning it from first to second the higher RPMs in 2nd start to sputter out. like I am losing gas, or like the gas line has air bubbles evenly spaced out.
they can't figure it out...
Sounds like the fuel pressure is not boost referenced (enough). You must have a 1:1 f.p. rise to match the boost pressure or else it'll blow fuel OUT of the carb (backwards). Also, you might just be running out of gas in a turn, look at the way the carb sits, it's spilling over into the venturi on a hard right turn.
Anyway, cool project! What are the specs on the turbo? I am building a 3400SFI turbo right now.

According to the mechanic fuel pressure and boost is in tune 1 to 1.
The carb actually sits sideways but they do all thier rails this way, since the rails going to be in the sand dunes you dont want the fuel sloshing to the back of the carb when goin up hill and lose power...
Side to side is better I guess. No other rails they have built this way have this problem.
Next is the slosh kit.
the right turn lean out is making me believe that your fuel pickup may be in correctly installed (or installed correctly but might need modding for your app)
if its installed correctly i suggest a small tank in line that should stay full with fuel during these conditions(i cant think of what this setup is called but something is leaning me toward surge tank... sorry, im out of it tonight)
its just basically a secondary fuel tank so that around corners you dont lean out.. some racers use them and i know there are a lot of japanese time attack cars that have been using them for a while
Hmmm, surge tank... This might be of interest to my Trooper project if the in-tank pump I swapped in doesn't cut it.
