With all the work needed to find and install a counter-clockwise engine, wouldn't it be easier to have new gears machined for the differential, to change rotation to a clockwise engine?

Leaves a lot more options...

Either way he's going to have to make adapters for the engine to mate up the trans of his car, so thats not a big deal. Picking up a used boat engine would be the quick fix.

Also, thr tranny would still be ran in reverse direction from it's intended direction with a forward rotating engine. Confused yet?

So that could cause lubrication and wear issues.

Reverse rotation engine would be easiest.

Maybe some more info on a Citroen? Not too familiar with it. I heard it can run on 3 wheels. That's about it.
