  • Gen2 fuel rail on Gen3 V6

Still preparing to do a 2.8 to large-runner 3100 swap. I have most of the details figured out:
    new style thin PS pump
    96 GP PS hoses
    alternator conversion
    lower coolant outlet diameter difference
using MPFI batch with Camaro 3.4 saturated style injectors
newer W manifolds to match the exhaust port change
    etc

Since I am trying to limit down time with the car, I am trying to make sure all the potential issues are resolved before I turn the first bolt.

Can I use the old fuel rail from the Gen2 on the Gen3 so I don't have to convert to quick connects or plastic fuel lines or have to do any ghetto-rigging to get fuel to the rail?

What do y'all do to get around this issue?

    Thanks

    Kurt

Ahh crap, forgot to ask about throttle cable, assuming I can just use one from a 94-96 GP with a 3100 and call it a day?

Also, do any 3100 components interfere with the trans or clutch parts? I am thinking not, but I suppose the Beretta nuts might no better.

I plan to take many pics during this process!
