I just was wondering if this had ever been done before. I've seen the 350 small block in a volvo, but never a 660. I was just thinking about it after I looked at some of the mg conversions and killerbv6.com and a few other site. that would make a for a nice boost from a 4 cylinder volvo engine and give more room for turbo?

I know I'm late on this post....but Volvo 740's and other 700 series cars(except for the late model 760's) have solid rear axles.

I now know they use a trailing arm type suspension, the specifics I don't know though.

SO #3 is a torque arm?
This would be a three link set-up? 1 torque arm and two lower control arms? FYI, the "panhard bar" is NOT part of how many "links" are in a particular design, as much as the mini trucking crowd would like to think so.
If that's the design it would be perfect. Though I am back burnering this project for a while.
I also have some messed up idea of my '98 Malibu AWD or RWD
