hello i recently bought a 1996 grand am with a 3100. i have been looking into a 3400/3100 hybrid swap, my plan is just to do intake manifolds now, due to i don't have very much money right now, and i really don't have the time. i have done alot of searching over the past few weeks and i only have one question now. when swapping a 3400 upper and lower intake manifolds on a 96 3100, which lower intake gasket do i use a 3100 or 3400.
i was thinking a 3400, but i just needed to be sure.
also i did get my hands on a upper, lower intake manifolds, t-stat housing, fuel injectors, fuel rails and FPR, MAP sensor, brakets for the MAP and the 2 for the alternator, EGR valve, and all the hardware, and vacuum lines off a 96 trans sport for $85, do you guys think i got a good deal?
from what i read i should just use my current fuel set up for the 3100, also i read that my fuel injectors are the same as pre 2000 3400 injectors. my plan is just to use the ones i have now(because i know they are good) and keep the others as a backup, and do the same with the sensors.
sorry i turned one question into a novel there
