yes, the 440t4 and 4t60 are the same tranny, just a different name. the 4t60e is just the electronic version of it.

giving up to go V8? Dont' be dumb. Use a obd1 wiring harness and computer. Then you dont' haev to worry about all that passkey stuff and antilock.

Sound great but how do i control the tranny then?
As i understand the 65E uses OBDII for control and OBD1 is not capable of anything but lockup or am i misinformed?
It's not worth it to me to spend another several hundred dollars on a stand alone unit to run the tranny
