  • help please?!

A quick question, or two. I am in the process of swapping a '93 TDC 3.4 out of a z34 into my '91 lumi euro with the 3.1. The 93 has ABS and the 91 does not. what problems am I going to run into if I don't utilize that ABS computer on the drivers side fenderwell (i think it's for the ABS). Anyway, I don't want to buy new wheel hubs with the ABS sensor in 'em cuz they're spendy nor do I want to mess around with the wiring and that ABS computer. What is the easiest/ most efficient way of dealing with the ECM and the ABS computer?

Also, does anyone have a pair of the grille turn signal lights for the z34 grille? the stair-stepped profile ones. all i find on ebay are the regular flat ones? someone has to have a pair they don't want, at least I hope. Thank you to anyone who can help me out with these things!

    RE: help please?!

the ABS computer has nothing to do with the engine wiring harness. it stays in the car when you swap out the engine/trans and their harness which plugs into the C130 on the passenger side firewall right behind the (alternator on the 3.1, map sensor on the 3.4)

not a problem! i went the other way a 91 3.4 from a non ABS car into a 94 with ABS. also did a 95 engine into a 90 gp with a 91 cutlass harness.

make sure you use the passenger side axle from the donor car, they ARE different - who knew till i tried to use a 4t60-e axle shaft on a 4t60 and it was 2" too short.
