my engine was pretty complete, minus the throttle body. my guy is gonna use the late model EGR tube since the mounting bracket that bolts it to the original EGR is smaller than the one for the 94 3100. also, the late model tube mounting bracket swivels on the tube, which allows some flexibility in fabbing up the bracket.

well, i need to motivate him into making the EGR plate before we go too far into the exhaust. i'm just seeing how much SERIOUS interest there is.
BTW, i am already setup for Ebay AND Paypal.

BTW, the threaded end on the EGR tube on both of my engines are the same. maybe the 3400s are different?
Does everyone agree on 35-40" for primary length and 1.5" primary diameter?

I need an EGR adaptor, for my 00+ 3400 manifolds. It doesn't matter who makes it, as long as its not a ridiculous price (40-50ish sounds ok)

LOL $40-$50 Yea right man. Its gonna be well over $100 (probabally near $200). There is alot of work and some expensive material involved.

BTW, the threaded end on the EGR tube on both of my engines are the same. maybe the 3400s are different?
So your working off of a 3100 Correct? Well that bracket isn't so bad to make. We went from a 1990 3.1L to a 2000+ 3400. The threads and position of the EGR tube threads was very different.

If you are selling EGR adapters, give me a price and some pictures/instructions...if you want to sell them on the 60V6 site store that I am setting up right now.

Ok well Lloyd and I have a few pics. Maybe over hee holidays we can whip another plate. We have a CAD drawing aswell.

I can prepare one for pics/info for the store then make 5 for stock and see how they sell. The only problem we have is that the one we made for a person we required that he send us his 3.1L parts so we could modify them. So in order to make it sell in a store we would need to dig up some cores.

I was just throwing a number out. 40, 50, and 60 have been the only numbers I've seen thrown around for the earlier style adapters.

Just figured I'd add that I'd be interested in buying one.

If you were making a plate for the pre 2000 manifolds or a 3100 to 3400 then yea. But going from a 3.1L to a 2000+ 3400 it the most complicated one to make. Not only that you need other parts to make it all work together.

these would be 3100 to 3400 adapters though right? I would be going from a 94 3100 topend to a 00+ 3400 topend.

I got my adapter yesterday. Well, it needs some further modifications to fit in the space. so, i mounted the original 3400 EGR until it's complete. anyways, the engine is in and car is running.
