I would think so. The only problem you might run into is finding a belt short enough to fit. I used an idler before the alternator to get more belt wrap, becasue I couldn't find a belt that would fit without the idler. With an idler to replace the PS pulley you would be even shorter.

A couple of questions came up while I was off,is there an off the shelf oil filter re-location kit for this engine?
And #2,when I go to the parts store and ask for a set of 3100 pistons and the parts man says what year and model? what do I tell him?

I have some up dates to post but haven't gotten around to it yet......it's mushroom hunting season in Michigan you know, and that takes up my time in May. Then the yard work starts....garden....ect....ect....you know the drill. I'll get some pics up on the board tomorrow.
As for the 914 it self,I don't have any digital pics of it still TOGETHER!!!!
Awesome project. You might want to check this car and site out if you already haven't. Its a V8 powered one with TWO superchargers. The car itself looks awesome, not to mention the engine bay is amazing.

Over $12K invested, and still its slow. Maybe thats because thats most all repairs. Don\'t knock the engine though, because thats the only part that has seemed to last.
Thanks for the link tho I have seen this car before,I also hang on 914club.com so I 've seen a few of these conversions. I hope to have my car ready sometime this summer to go AutoXing........
