Whats the best GM car to swap a 3100/3400 hybrid car into?

I don't know about Chevettes, but I know they made the Citation with the 2.8L....so it would definately be really easy to swap.

Personally, If I had to choose a car, I would pick a '88 Fiero GT 5 Speed. That way I get the good body (fastback) and the good suspension.

No the Chevette only got a 1.6L gas or 1.8L diesel. But it was RWD

A fiero would be a small car at the top of my list. It looks the best and is about as light as they come. Plus they are a 2 seat go fast car

there is a 2.8l swap in the swap section. im sure it wouldnt be to hard to do a 3400 into it.

it would be just as easy to do a 3400 as it would be a 2.8
cept for the internals and the heads, intake, and exhaust mani
its pretty much the same engine as far as block and size

what kind of cars are under "j-body" ? i wouldn't mind getting a beretta and installing it in there. there should be plenty of room for the engine. but i'm 6'4 in height so i don't want a small car.

A "J-body" is a Cavalier, J2000, Sunbird, Sunfire, Cimmaron, Skyhawk, and Firenza.
