3800 GTP Supercharged engine swap to a 1996 Cutlass 3.1
Well, there is a NA 3800SII in the 11s in an F-body.
the only 11 sec 3800 fbody I know of is supercharged AND runs n2o
the fastest na fbody is 13 sec.
Yeah, I've meet Shirl a couple times as she used to go to the same track that I frequent. As mentioned above, the guy that has the 11 second NA 3.8 is not on the internet, but it's still an 11 second NA V6!!
ok now im pretty knowledgeable about motors and how to make power and stuff
now are you saying an 11 sec series 2 na without nos and if so will someone please explain this too me because i know of several things about a series 2 na motor that makes it hard to make alot of power
Well, there is a NA 3800SII in the 11s in an F-body, and an NA 3800SII GP in the 12s.
streetable or not to do what you would need to do to a 3800 series 2 to get that kind of power
it wouldnt be a series 2 3800 anymore
maybe a 3.8 liter 90 v6 with different heads, pistons, solid roller cam, etc
basically a whole different engine
remember guys, those cars are stock eliminator, so they have to work under extremly strict rules. they have to use pretty much a stock motor, and push the limits of the stock specs right to the limit
