I am wondering if the chevette has a large enough bay to put the 3.4 Dohc in. I am thinking if you could put it in, fitting even the stock manifolds may be a problem. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Well people say it wont fit in an N body or A body so a Chevette may be a long shot. But with some masaging it may go it.1993 EXT. CAB, 3.4L V6 TBI, 5spd manual. Sonoma
1990 4Door, 3.2L V6 TBI, 5spd manual. 4X4. Trooper

i have a 3.1 TGP setup, though it would be a real b|tch to put into a rwd application, unless i didn't run any accessories. I want a 3.4DOHC because of the good top end and willingness to rev. If this doesn't pan out I'm just going to have to go with the 3.1 NA and be happy with it.

ive been kicking myself since i sold that to you.
That or a pre MAF wiring harness, tranny and s10 rear end with a posi, then i'd just run the 3.1 stock pretty much, maybe just a wild cam, and some gen 3 heads perhaps.
Those things would probally get me swap turbo shtuff no prob.

heres a pic with a OHV in it, from the looks of it, the heads will clear the fenders, no problem, but there might be problems with the master cylinder, I cann't really tell if that one has manual brakes or not, if its that close with a booster converting to manual brakes might help out. Or maybe I could just mount the mastercylinder somewhere else? Or maybe this is to much work and i should just put in the OHV?

Do you think you could get me that tranny? I'd love to make that swap.
