      MG Midget

I have to say this car makes some of the best sounds from a GM 60*V6 that I have ever heard. My friend compared it to a 350Z (which actually kinda makes sense since it also has a 3.5L 60*V6). This thing definitely sounds better at high rpms than my cars ever have.

It was being considered, but headers have already been built so it's highly unlikely. My friend still has his M90 and mounting bracket from his S10, so that's another option.

For now however traction is already a problem so until that is solved we won't be adding any more power. This thing roasts r-compound tires like they're bald.

Options in the traction department are either running slicks all the time in the rear, fitting a bigger tire, or switching from the current 4.11 gears to 3.5 gears.

I don't think I mentioned it earlier but this car has a narrowed Ford 8" rear end in it so I don't think driveline strength will be an issue. The weakest link should be the T5 but in a 1700 lb car I don't see it being a problem either.

If it's going anywhere close to a highway I would do the gearing. Not having to pull anything for some time with my truck has me regretting having 3.73s with these itty bitty tires.

Also, having horrible roads around here anymore, my truck will be getting a 4" lift and larger tires and I will not be regearing, lol.

                  Shifting at ~3k has me at about 10, 20, 35 and 50mph.

with a 4.11 final gear, that's about like a 3.43 4T60.... that isn't too bad on the highway with a 26" tall tire, but i have no idea what a MG does/could run.

Wow that is a bit too much gear for the weight. I'd bet that you could get away with 3.23.

The owner already has a set of 3.5s so if we change gears it will get 3.5s. 4.11s to 3.5s WOULD be a pretty big difference IMO

Well I guess what's on hand is worth a try. Got to agree with 3400 Mod though.
Got to be damn hard to find street slicks in the size needed. May need some wheelie bars (lol)
