working on my 3500 F23 swap, the harness was built using GMtuners 3400 pinout. I installed my wiring harness and started testing to make sure everything is working correct, and so far, I've come across 3 odd issues.
1: My Check engine light is is not coming on. I grounded pin "C" on the C203, and the light comes on bright, so I know the bulb is good, and I checked the wire going to the PCM and it is int he correct location. I also checked the PCM grounds, all appear to be correct and in place. am I missing something? the PCM does ground pin 5 on the clear connector to turn the light on right?
2: the charge failure indicator is also actin weird, initial key on, and it's bright, key off and back on, and it's off. that's not normal is it? when the key is turned all the way to "start", it will stay on after returning to the "on" position.
3: when the charge failure light does come on, if you look really close, you can see the CEL flash once very quickly, and then nothing.
any thoughts?
