got a real bad knock now, so I'll be hitting the junk yard soon. I've been looking around the site to find what I need to know, and came across a lot of different things. I plan on rebuilding the 3.1 short block and would like to swap in a 3x00 top end. Any suggestions on what might work best? I'm looking for more power than the stock 110hp, but don't want outrageous compression ratios high or low. I was thinking 3100 pistons and 3400 heads and intake. Does this sound right?
