I've read so many posts here about swapping a 3.4L engine into my 91 Cavalier. Conflicting answers with a lot of stuff though. The reason I'm thinking of a swap is because:
1) I can hardly find a 3.1 that old that is still running;
2) My engine is toast; and
3) So many guys say it is so easy to do.
My questions:
-Will the wiring harnesses be the same ?
-Are there any computer issues to deal with ?
-Do I have to change out the top end of the engine and the front cover ?
OR:
-Is it pretty much take out the old engine and throw in the new one without any wiring or computer problems at all ?
