What are my options

I was just given an 84 camaro with a 2.8l with a 700r4 trans. The motor has a rod knockin but surprisingly it runs really smooth. What are my options for motors that will bolt up to the stock intake?3.1?3.4?

I'm looking to put something in it and finish painting it and sell it off. Any help would be appreciated.

i suppose either one would bolt to that intake. but it might be restrictive? but u really don't care about that. i don't believe there are any rwd 3.1's, so i guess u need a 3.4 out of a 93-95 i think camaro. unless u get another 2.8.

The camaro came with a 3.1l in 91-92. Only years.

Your only options are any RWD 2.8, 3.1 or 3.4. None of the aluminium headed versions will bolt in easily, it can be done, but it's time consuming.
