  • 3100 Intake swap

    Hi,
I have found a good bit of information about upgrading a '94 M code 3100 by installing the J code 2000 or later intake on it. I have a J code 3100 out of an 02 Century that I want to install my '94 model intake on. I realize this is backwards from a performance standpoint, but I have to get this car back on the road in a hurry. Has anyone tried this? Are there clearance problems between the newer style roller rocker arms and the older '94 model intake?

    Thanks,

    Andy

There aren't issues with the roller rockers. The issue you will run into is with the EGR and heater coolant pipe. Take a look at those 2 things before you go too far.
