I recently was able to get an entire 3500 engine with a rod knock for free, the heads are still good, I sent them out to get checked and a valve job done. This engine had independent manifolds for the exhaust (no cross over pipe). Has anyone been able to use these manifolds? Im wondering about the clearance in the front? Thanks!

It depends on what car you're trying to do it in...
I've used 2 front 3500 manifolds in a Jbody, it worked out well.

I used a mandrel 2" U bend and brought it back up and over the trans like the stock crossover.
Here are 2 full res pics..

On a beretta the rear manifold will hit the A/C evaporator fittings. Mine was a 5-speed, so a automatic might have a inch more clearance, making it possible. Or delete A/C and enjoy a cheap, decent exhaust option.95 Beretta- Lg8 Daily Driver
