Same here.. i even pulled the running V8 out and gave it away..

in the end the car is 300+ lbs lighter, makes the same torque and has about 150 more HP... and gets better gas mileage.

I understand that, check out my swap in the off topic.

Now look at it this way. How much money are you going to spend getting that V6 into the ballpark of the V8's power? And then which is going to make that power more reliably? And then when those high strung v6's blow up or the turbos fry what is it going to cost to replace that stuff ? I'm sorry I'm saying put a V8 in it because it's a heavy car and for reliabilty if you want something better then the 3.4. Its a camaro not a cavalier. Thats pretty much my $0.02

Now we need to know what sort of build said camaro owner is wanting. Reliably power, Dare to be different power, Money is no object swap. And will it be a street car or will it be a race car? And this guy hasn't responded to this thread once the whole time lol. I imagine this thread would be better taken at a F-body forum as opposed to this forum.

Should this thread just get locked?

Why would I lock the thread? I like watching you talk to yourself too much to do that. Hate your V6 car, sell it, buy a V8 car. Done.

Replying in regards to your high strung comment, or how you are frying turbos is not worth the effort. You already have your conclusion.

You can say get a v8 till you are blue in the face but the guy still wants a v6, so what's the use?
