Has anyone ever done for that Gen camaro or is it even doable. If so is there a how-to anywhere?

Its doable.
You'll have to C-notch the subframe and make custom mounts, put your RWD timing cover on the 3500, which requires some mods, then the trans bellhousing starter location issue.
It's a fun swap. I did it in an '88.11.92 @ 122 MPH 3400 91 Cavalier Z24 Intercooled S/C. -totalled-
