best motor for my build...

Ok sooooooooo I have a 1995 cutlass ciera, with a 3.1L.

Wondering what would be the best motor to get.

In the yard up here there are

3.4 2002 impala, wrecked rear. 60k miles

3.4 2003 silhouette, wrecked rear, 57k miles

3.4 2002 alero, WRECKED side, (cars interior was bloody...) 30k miles

...alero? Next month there is a 80$ engines week...

Also wondering is I should do a computer swap while I'm at it?

I have 0 mechanic experience, so ne insight will help.

Get the one with the lowest miles it is the safest bet.

Its the engine only. No alt, no wires, no AC pum. Everything is extra

check the oil, it might have only 30,000km but one oil change, at that many km when you pull off the oil fill cap it should be clean.

i believe with you 95 you have the OBD 1.5, so you will have to upgrade or degrade you computer system for proper tuning and performance of the motor. if you can get a 96 engine harness+ECM from the same car it should be all pretty much plug and play.
