98 Lumina 3100 L82 --> 03 LG8 3100

I'm going to be replacing my 98 Lumina's 3100 engine, so I'm wondering what the options are?

I'd really like to get a 3100 LG8 swapped in (such as http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2003-...Q5fAccessories) but I'm not sure on compatibility - I've seen scattered reports on it being bolt on, needing specific parts, etc...

What will I need to swap from the old engine to make this work? I'm not exactly sure as my searching is inconclusive.

Thanks! I've been a lurker for a long time, so I finally registered once I realized I actually needed help.

Am I to assume that the 3400 or the newer 3100 I mentioned would be identical in terms of needed parts? So, technically I could put in a 3400 or a newer 3100 when following the guide?
