I have a 92 with a manual transmission. that I have blown the engine in. I am having problems finding another to go back in it. I don't really need any more power, but would anyone know what other vehicles have that size motor that will bolt back to the mounts?

As far as I can tell ALL Gen I and II FWD motors use the same exact block. But the upper end on the Rodeo uses iron heads and TBI fuel injection from the S-10. So it is a hybrid motor of sorts. If you do choose a Gen II FWD motor as a core then you wont be able to use the pistons with the stock heads. The Camaro also used a 3.1L but the starter is not on the correct side and not all the engine mount bolts line up. So it is better to use a FWD block.1993 EXT. CAB, 3.4L V6 TBI, 5spd manual. Sonoma

Early-to-mid '90's GM FWD mini-vans use a 3.1 cast-iron-head TBI motor which will bolt right up to your Rodeo, providing it's using an Isuzu MUA tranny with starter on the driver's side. There are 2WD 3.1 Rodeos using a right-side starter along with a BW tranny and for that you could use a Camaro 3.1 or 3.4. But I'm thinkin' since you're having trouble finding a motor that you're probably looking for the FWD-style block.
One other thought, the Trooper 2.8 block found in '89-91 V6 models has the same bore as a 3.1, if you were to find a good 2.8 block you could install a 3.1 crank and pistons, and the Troop block will bolt right up to a Rodeo MUA-5 tranny.
