3x00 swap with manual trans problems...(exhaust)

im swaping in a 3500 into a fiero with a 4speed muncie manual trans, using the 3400 exhaust manifolds, and the crossover pipe is in he way of the shift linkage and brackets... is there anything i can do about this short of making a new crossover or custom manifolds?!
