i'm currently stabbing a 1982 2.8l chevy v6 into my samurai and i had to swap out the distributor because i couldn't get the ECM for the motor. It's carbed but when we get the new dist. i need to know what the timing degree is supposed to be on this engine. i'm not very familiar with these engines at all and will most likely need help thoughout the process... i have ordered other parts though and will be changing outt he intake manifold to adapt for a 4bbl holley and a MSD ignition. as for exhaust, i'll be running zoomies straight out the hood and will be installing a bigger camshaft. but for right now i just wanna get the engine running, so please... any help is welcomed and please dont get too tech with me, i'm no mechanic by far.
