ok here it is i was told there is a big difference with the vin j california emmissions motor? i dont think there is the only difference there is is the air pump bolted by the rad that goes to the front exhaust manifold which should switch easy right? shouldnt i be able to also put in a 3400 to?

can a 3100 swap with a 3100 vin j calif?

Calif emissions the heads have holes for the air pump to deliver the air... the holes are not on the exhaust manifolds as they used to be when doing those emissions.
I had to plug those holes to install a Vin J motor into my beretta that does not have that equipment. So without those J heads you wont be able to reinstall the air injectors.
