  • mustang TB on 3400

    hey guys. Ive notices from a few peoples cars, that they have put a 4.6 Mustang TB ( 70mm ) on a 3400 intake. how or is it possible, and what modifications would i need to do to have it work? thanks

    - ceramic Pacesetter headers
    - UDP and alternator pulley
    - LS6 valve springs and MMS stage 1 cam
    - d.i.y. intake with K&N con filter

    for a little guy, he runs pretty good

    I made a prototype adapter a long time ago, think Ban has it. The IAC is different as well as the TPS. It was 65mm, might have some pics somewhere...

      TPS will work if you splice connectors. The IAC won't however and you'll have to adapt a GM IAC to some sort of adapter to control your idle.

      Much easier to get a GM LX5 TB off of a 3.5 DOHC Intrigue olds motor which will bolt up with an adapter and you can mod your cable bracket in 5 mins and be down the road... All sensors work an you won't have the linkage in the opposite direction since it's a FWD TB to begin with.

            WOT store. Might be sold out again. A short run was made recently. Sold out like hot cakes IIRC.
