  • 97 3.4 to a 92 3.4, Compatible??

I have heard that there are some differences beween 92 and 97 3.4 dohc. I am gong to swap my 3.4 dohc from my wrecked 97 Monte Carlo to a real nice 92 Gran Prix SE with 3.4 Doch that has a bad knock. What differences will there be? What will I have to retain from the 92 to make it work? Will It work?
92 Gran Prix SE 3.4 dohc that has a bad knock in front head. I think it is a lifter or rocker.

Brad did help me fond the right thead from SappySE107. http://www.60degreev6.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2181 thanks Brad.
I'm kinda dumb though and want to know if he is saying that I can't do it. The 92 computer will not be able to control the different kind of intake and sensors the 97 requires. So if I keep the old intakes on the new engine the ports are different.
I need more guidence for those with more wisdom. I always heard that a man with a therory is at the mercy of a man with experience. I am learning that to be true every day.

The new motor should work fine, except for the MAP sensor will need to be added on the newer intake.
