OldskoolGP's old GP that Ben bought is a 5 speed and runs on OBD2. As for the heater core lines, why not run rubber there and route them below the brake booster? That would give it a slightly cleaner look anyways. Oh, and as for the cam carrier gasket, just buy a new one. Old ones aren't too reliable. I changed to Mobil 1 on the 91 many many moons ago and my cam carrier gasket sprang a leak.

We are running out of room... I mean, right now we are sitting at just over 5GB for the entire 60V6 site, Ben is less than 1GB for WOT-Tech, and we are on a 40GB VPS.

6GB used... With all the redundancy and databases and what-not, we are sitting at 17GB used out of the 40GB, but still not running out of room in the least. Over 600MB sits in the 1000+ images in the Photo Gallery.

              lighten rod option

              Sir,
if you need a lighten rod, you may look at Wiesco #CH-5700ALLB-L8a.
It weights 492 grams. Should help you keep the revs. They wanted racer
costs at $610. It's originally for a Chevy 327 small journal applications. Do the clearance work on the block and get some custom forged pistons w/
the Chevy pin .927", you'll have a nice strong bottom end for a nitrous, or
              turbo, or supercharger.

                  more rebuild options

For a rebuild kit for the 3.4 DOHC, look at Flatlander Racing. they want $500.
Throw in a set of forged pistons, for a nice bottom end for a turbo, nitrous, etc.

Sadly, no. But then again I don't like to drop engines in without looking at the cylinders, having the heads checked, ect. so a head gasket set would be in order.

There is nothing wrong with these heads or anything.. i was burning the manifols bolts out that were broke and tried heating up the AIR fitting to get that loose and try to find a plug for it and when heating the AIR fitting i burned the cam carrier gasket out on the front so now i need to change it out.. i have reused one before and put a slightest film of gasket maker on each side to make a seal and never had one leak on me before.. But the one i took a picture of is a spare i have and its beond reusing.. the permadry so falling off so a reuse is not possible.. i may just pull the cam carrier off my 92 to reuse if need be

Slight update here.. I got the engine and trans off the subframe.. Once that was off i got the harness off the engine.. Then i got the trans off the engine.. The subframe is ready to go back into the car so i can roll the car out onto a trailer thats going straight to the scrapyard.. Some pictures of the progress i was doing.. The engine and trans are set aside to get the subframe on the car once that is done i will toss the tranny in the trunk and away she goes..

you can ignore J2, it applies to 96 GPs and since you have a 96 lumina harness...

E1 on the 95 and F1 on the 96 are for the same function. switch the pin and its done.

not sure if the others need to be wired indivually yet, i'll check to see if they are wired somewhere else...
