newb w/ 3100 swap question

I had a nice 97 Grand Am GT that was recently totaled by my daughter (T-boned on passenger side).

Anyway...from what I can tell it's an 3100 (L82) engine w/ 91k miles, auto trans that still runs great and has been well maintained. I'd like to drop it into a new body...

Can anyone tell me...

What years/models this engine and trans will be a direct swap into?
I'm looking for as simple swap as possible...plug-n-play...

96-99 GA, Malibu, Grand Prix, Alero...

if you have the stock engine mounts, most cars with the 3100 & auto trans will work (96-99) just fine as long as you get one with an engine/trans in place or atleast all of the mounting equipment. id shoot for a 96-97 cutlass supreme with 3100 & auto trans-those are very nice cars & run great with a 3100.

or if you like, a 96-99 chevrolet lumina 3100 auto, not the 3.8 model.
