Swap the UIM or do a few other things to get the 3500 UIM on. The coolant sensor will need fiddling with, or drill and tap the location in the 3500 LIM spot like the 3400 one goes (they moved the coolant sensor to the head and it is only a 2 wire and different threads). Swap your fuel rails/injectors over, timing cover if the accesories and 24x sensor doesn't swap over.
Pull out the cam sensor and put your 3400 one in, or splice the connectors.
Get the wottech.com external crank trigger so you can run your 7x sensor (3500 uses different crank trigger that wont work).
The block to transmission bracket will need a little modifying to bolt back up.
The AC might not bolt up to the bottom bolt, but others run it without it without problems.
The HP increase and cheapness (even with the adapter) would be worth it if you like your car and want to keep it. Tuning it would get you even more power if you have a tuner for the car.
To put on the 3500 upper intake, you'll need the TB adapter from wottech.com and run some vacuum hose to the FPR and vacuum tank, (easy) and either run a vacuum hose from the old MAP, or splice in the connector for the 3500 one and use the 3500 one. That's what I did for my 3500 upper. You can put the 3400 upper on the 3500 lower, but the 3500 lower must stay with the 3500 heads.sigpic New 2010 project (click image)
