is there a link to your friends build? 1 of my friends blew his 13B after he dumped his years pay from iraq in it and was looking into swapping to a LS1 or LS3. he decided to go to a supra, 95 or so, and sold it to our other friend. THIS is his Veilside Fortune RX7. thats the guys cardomain he bought it from. hes dropping a 3 rotor into his other 7 he bought from our friend. fun times. my fiero is going to hafta show these asian super cars what an american 60*v6 can do. haha, it wont be able to keep up in the 1/4, but maybe at a road course it will put up a really good fight.

Any updates? I'm seriously thinking of a 3500 swap in my 86GT. Would like to use the donor's computer if possible.

i havent made any new progress. i took my injectors out and sent them off to fuel injector connection to be cleaned. ive got them installed back into the motor, but havent gone farther than that due to these extreme oklahoma cold tremps. they are even bad in a garage. all it does it stop the wind. cold still gets in. what would you like to know?

Have you done any work on the obd2 harness and ecu from the 98 venture? I guess you're just going to use the stock code for the 98 3400? I am leaning in the dirrection of ODB1 as I already have a 7730 and digital cruise ( not installed yet ). This would require the use of a 4t60 as my car is already an automatic. I would really like use a 4t65E with the 3500 lx9. Does the 98 venture support the 4t65E or the 4t60E? Something like the Chev Uplander used the lx9 with a 4t65E.

now this is a common problem with the rear fiero cradle bolts...
they used a floating nut design that would normally rust and break free and requires cutting a hole into the side of the frame, mine didnt rust, but crossthreaded and broke the cage free when put a brakerbar on it...
