      Wow. most of the time when someone mentions a 90* no one says anything about it. I was completely under the impression it was such a difficult swap because you had to change trannies as well.

      I have a 90# 3.3L car that was about to hit the junk yard.If I can drop in a 3.1 without changing the trans then I already have most of the parts I need.

      I guess the only way I really learn around here is to say the completely wrong thing, so expect more of it. Inquiring minds need to know!

          wile reading i was wondering would a straight up 3500 swap yield more HP then a 3400/3.4/3500 hybrid? a built up 3500 seems to be easier and slightly cheaper but i don't know.

          never mind i can get a complete 3400 for $125 w00tness

            Good luck with the project!

            I didn't see it mentioned but you may need the exhaust downpipe as well.
