    PCM tune
    fuel lines

if i missed any thing let me know i am getting a compleat 3400 with all the accesorys (including A/C compresser)

you'll lose power with the 3100 UIM.. i'd just stick a 3500 one on there.. nobody knows what it's from so you'll be safe.. lol

Sounds like a good combo, toss a cam in the mix.. somewhere around .510 lift and 270 advertised on a 110 LSA and grab a set of headers.

Not a ton of power if you consider the "wow" factor, lol.

With a nice cam, you should shut a lot of people up.

Here's my specs (remember I have 1.6 rockers with the 3500 top end, so the #'s are a little skewed)...

Dave will probably share his, his bump stick is a little bigger

Use the 3x00 gaskets, and don't forget valve springs. The yellow springs are good with my cam, Dave's require the Comp springs IIRC

EDIT: Please don't tell anybody at FT until it's complete. This will be good

ok after some serching this is what i found

                  L36 Powertrain Control Module (Tune)
                  L36 High-Pressure Power Steering Line
L36 Stock or Custom/Aftermarket 97+ Style Exhaust Downpipe
                  L36 Coolant Hoses (New)
                  Upper and Lower Radiator Hoses
                  Heater core lines
                  Belts

now i know it is for the wrong engine but the revers should work (i.e. get stuff for a grand prix se with a 3100) this is actualy good it means i do not need new fuel lines (mine are new with 1,000 miles on them)

i will add more as i find it

some wiring is also need but thats cool i like wiring stuff up

I'm going to put a 3500 UIM on my 3400 and just paint 3100 on it . No1 will know the difference

ok i will need upper engine mounts (dog bones and the part that bolts to the radiator core support), and a fuel line repair kit (the 3800 fuel lines are to long)

so far it dose not seem to be to bad most of this i can get from a junk yard

bout time! the l67 is a boat anchor for sure. when u put pistons in it, go to summit and pick up a set of hyper pistons. theyre like 15-20 bux each. stronger and u could go boost or some juice if u decide to.. lets see this get done!

was talking to some one who put a 3800 in his 02 GP SE and found out the upper dog bones do not need to be replaced they look diffrent but the are close enugh.

now to get money magicly and get the 3400 (was going to sell engine and parts in car before hand but i need it to cart my azz to school )

Just throwing this out there because I didn't see it said anywhere else in this thread, but if you have a 3800 90* V6 then it has a different transmission bolt pattern than a 60* V6. I'm pretty sure that means you need a transmission to go with that new 60* motor.

If you are going that far and getting a new wiring harness I would look for a computer out of a similar vehicle to your own that was made for the new engine/trans setup you will be running. With all of those things needed it would probably be cheaper to have a parts car around than to haul over to the junkyard every time you need a little piece here and there.

The 3800 has the metric bell housing pattern, jut like the 60 degree does
