  • 3500 coolant hose routing

    i need to know the routing so i can correct the quick job merlot did to get the car running and outta the driveweay and to clean up the engine bay.
    ENGINE HAS INTERNAL DAMAGE. THIS MOTOR WILL BE TAKEN OUT OF THE FIERO AND REPAIRED IN TIME. UNTIL THEN, A L67 WILL RESIDE IN ITS PLACE

    87 fiero gt 5spd 3500, 1280 cam and PR, ls6 valve springs, port and polished heads, ported lim, ported uim, 4.3 70mm tb, ported trueleo headers and y pipe, 2.5 inch ex, flowtech muff, 7730 ecm, moates.net APU1, self tuning *learning* (GOT FROM MY BROTHER, divorce reasons.)

      haha, how perfect.

      im tryn to fill it with coolant now and i gotta do it from the way it was designed to. and me and jon think the thermostat toasted itself. i was forcing water in the other overflow tank in the trunk and the nipple in the red circle(you should know what im talking about )spirt out coolant. jon said that must be from the thermo stuck open. so im off to a store to get a new thermo, some coolant and a hose to place over that nipple to let coolant into.

        My car has a line coming from the thermostat housing to the recovery tank. Some cars like W bodies just have a bleeder there. I could of swapped to that but left it stock so it bleeds it'self in that area.

          i think ill run a line into the trunk tank for the time being
