ah dang, never thought of searching into i tlike that. well if i cant make it, it will still be a fun car. and track cars shouldnt need to pull off some insane 1/4 mile times. they need to be able to take a turn. half in the car, half in the driver is how i see it.

What did Merlot have to do the flanges on the headers to make them work with the 3500 heads... I thought I remember someone saying that the only difference, besides port diameter, was the bolt holes/studs were slightly further apart...
any info on what he did? I am really thinking hard about those headers for my future swap.sigpic

Get some more progress on this... My 3400 Fiero is a blast on the street. At the track, I'd like to click off a mid-low 12sec qtr. I'm also boosted though... Get some more pics up. I'm probably going to be doing a 3500 UIM on mine to run a bigger TB and get some more plenum volume. Good luck!
