Has anyone out there put a 3800 buick in a 92 Z34? I have a good dealon one and was wondering if it would be worth the work. Are there any sites I can go to helpme out with specs etc?

I wanna take my 3.4l out rebuild it and fix the tranny.I cant get out if 2nd gear with my tranny right now.Im gonna be brave and try the swap .take the time to fix my 3.4 and toss it back in.

i think you would be miles ahead finding a 3.1 and trans to toss in while you rebuild the 3.4 and fix your tranny as the harness is the same

Umm, ok, so you're going to convert your car over to a 3800, from a 3.4, then rebuild your 3.4 and then re convert back to a 3.4? Why not just find another 3.4 and swap it in, would take less time and less work.

I have a suggestion, sell me the Z and then go buy a Buick Regal that already has the 3800 in it. I think my friend would sell his 95 cheap. Four door though.
If it\'s fun, it\'s probably illegal and if it\'s illegal I\'m probably doing it.
