My car is a 1990 and has a 01 3100 topend, what throttle cable do you guys use? Also how do you get the TV cable to stay on the throttle cable bracket? I kinda have it rigged up right now and i dont like it... theres no way cruise controll would work so thats gotta get taken out. I made a temporary plate for the TV cable to attach on the TB and i know people have professionally made this work.... any ideas or pics or anything would be helpful.

you have to make a cable for the TV. I used a throttle kit for like a chevy small block to make an end for it, and my bracket had a provision for it to snap into.
You can get your cruise to work.
First of all, I use the throttle arm from a stock 3100 Cutlass Supreme throttle body, as well as the Cutlass Supreme throttle cable. For the Cruise Control, you can get either a 1993 Cutlass Supreme with a 3100 SFI cruise cable (that is the only Cutlass Supreme to get the 3100, and the VACUUM cruise control. Also, look at the other cars. Look in a Cutlass CIERA with the 3100. Some of the early ones (1994) got the 3100, and a vacuum cruise control. They are out there. I have one. I got mine out of a 1993 Cutlass Supreme 3100.
not sure if I have pics of the tv cable. After my 440T4 blew up, I went to a 4T60-ETaylor

Check out the 1994 era 3100 TB linkages.. (maybe even 95) They have cruise as well as a reverse shoe horn for pulling a TV cable (though I've never seen it used in a factory vehicle) The later years still had the part of that TV kick down horn, but are missing the other part of stamped steel that lets the cable rest in it.
That's what I would try first.
Otherwise you can grab a throttle box from a Quad 4 automatic car and hook everything up to that. (TV, cruise, throttle, and pedal cables all go into and out of it)sigpic New 2010 project (click image)

Here is what I'm talking about. My TB linkage/shaft is from the 3100 94. In these pics it's installed into a 56mm 3400 TB.
The outer black plastic is where my cruise connects, then the throttle cable connects, and finally the large thing sticking up top farthest inward is what you could use for a TV cable I bet. Since it would pull a cable from the opposite direction of where the throttle cable pulls...
For the cable bracket, mine doesn't have a space for a 3rd TV cable to hold it, but I *have* seen brackets that had a cut out up top for one. I don't remember which cars though. But any 94 3100 will have this linkage/shaft... You can always cut the square notch hole for the TV cable in the bracket though if you couldn't find one too.sigpic New 2010 project (click image)

almost all "car" throttle cable brackets are identical for all the 3x00's, not sure if it would fit but us Jbody guys use throttle cables from the Berettas/Corsicas with the 3100 so i'd assume that you could find a cable off of a newer version of your car that has a Gen3 engine, grab the cruse control setup as well.

Here is a pic of 3400-modified's engine. Notice the top square hole on his throttle linkage bracket.... Perfect for a throw down cable to connect there and connect to the shoe horn there I was talking about. His car is a 95. Not sure if his bracket is 95 or not. Mine is 94 and does not have that hole.
