Is the flywheel the same for all 60* v6's? I've heard some diffrence in clutch diameters but I'm more concerned with the center bolt patern. would the flywheel from a 2.8 fit a 3.1?

Yes.
The only difference you will come across is internal or external balancing and RWD VS FWD. And then there was that weird Camaro flywheel.1993 EXT. CAB, 3.4L V6 TBI, 5spd manual. Sonoma

thanks, i thought they were the same just wanted to be sure before i pulled my trans just to find it not fit and have to put my auto back in, lol
I'm doing the 5 speed conversion on my 3.1 just to keep me happy for a bit but i'm building a hybrid turbo 2.8 to drop in in a month or so, so if they were diffrent i would have just held off on the trans till i did the motor, cause my donar car for the 5 speed is a 2.8Mr_Efficiency
