installing LA1 3400 into 1989 Trooper

LA1 3400 sounds like the same amount of work

I just got finished reading that post you were talking about before you told me I was already reading it.

To me it sounds like the same amount of work is involved as doing a LA1 3400

Also the LA1 to me is more fuel friendly and more HP and doesn't take up as much space in the engine bay.

There is one thing I didn't relize was how hard it is to take the engine out and reinstall it. I didn't think it was that tight getting it connected to the transmission.

Nothing a few busted knuckles want take care of .

Well tomorrow I will be going after my LA1 it is in a 2000 Oldsmobile Alero that was rearended. It is at a auction that I go to.Also with buying the whole car I know everything is there for me to get that I need so if I leave something behind it will be my own fault.

Canyonero You do relize the 3.4 my friend has has the 1986 camaro fuel injection stuff on it if that is ok with you I will talk to him tonight

You can never have too many extra parts! Even if my friend doesn't want to keep the injection, parts would probably fit on mine. What happened to his car that he'd want to sell the engine for?

Sold Sold Sold Sold the Trooper

I sold the Trooper Saturday because I bought a 1987 S10 Blazer 4x4 for $200 at the auction instead of the La1 3400 car. The car sold for $400.

So I put the Trooper on Graigslist within 2 hours I had it sold.

So I am going to put my friends 3.4 in the Blazer and keep it TBI
