do you have the DIS mounted in the 3.1 location (under the front exhaust manifold), or on the 3100 location (on the top rear of the upper intake manifold).

Make sure you have the coil packs in the right order. They are numbered yes but if you mix them up that doesn't help anymore.
You didn't mix up push rods did you? I don't think you'd get very far if you did but just checking.
Rocker arms don't need to be super tight. I forget the specs.sigpic New 2010 project (click image)

Sounds more like you mixed up the pushrods (if the coil packs are where they're supposed to be)... If you can get a tech 2 or another scan tool, check to see which cylinder is miss firing, find out which one it is, pop off the valve cover, pull the pushrods and see if one is bent. If you bent a pushrod, chances are you bent the valve. From what i've seen at my work from people putting them in wrong, you have 4/5 chance that you bent a valve if the pushrod is in the wrong place.
With overtightening the rockers I doubt it. Spec. is about as tight as I can get it with a 1/2 rachet. Not saying i'm huge or anything, but don't have any problems taking stuff off with that rachet. You may or may not know 10 times what i do.

Depends on the 1/2" . Max i've done with my BIG 1/2" is 200ft/lbs. Only have had to do that a couple times with h2 rear control arms . Takes all I got, but I only weight 175 when im wet
EDIT: Just realized i use a lil too much...You may or may not know 10 times what i do.

I have a PROTO 1/2" ratchet that I have gotten over 300 lbs. I had an overtightened lug nut, and I put a 19mm on the Proto. I then put a pole on the end of it, and after not being able to force it by hand, I finally just stood on the pole, and it didn't budge. I had to bounce on it to get it to come loose.
I weigh about 280 lbs (naked), and I was wearing jean, and covered in sweat, and my steel-toe boots, so I was probably closer to 300 lbs.
And lets not forget our physics where force can exceed mass/weight when inertia is added.Taylor

well, I never took physics. I guess that is why I am so good at what I do. I never learned that I can't defy the laws of physics, so as long as I don't know that I can't defy them, then I am going to go right ahead and keep on defying them.
SIGH! Ignorance is bliss.Taylor

naw i doubt its the pushrods... i had them in order in a piece of cardboard when i took them out. But I will double check that this weekend. None looked bent when i took the valve covers off. Now when i loosened all the rocker arms, 2 were super tight. The spring was waaay compressed. Now i thought they were all torqued to spec, but apparently not. I bought a torque wrench from northern tool that doesnt make the clicking noise, it just starts spinning loosely (supposedly) when it reaches spec... I m thinking thats what messed me up

Well if the spring is compressed on a few that means that the cam is just at that point to open that valve.sigpic New 2010 project (click image)

man no... not yet at least. I been trying to figure out how to get these 2 stripped rocker arm nuts loose.
I bought an old school torque wrench (the one with the big ass needle) and re-torqued all of the rocker arms except 1 and 6... they are stripped out and i cant get em off. Apparently i waaaaaay over torqued them the 1st time. i did crank her up and she sounded pretty nice until she cut off
other than that its good!
