  • Another map sensor question

Hello all, im working on the finishing touches with the engine swap, but ran into a problem, the intake manifolds i believe use a different map sensor, i upgraded from 3400 to 3500's, and am now getting a constant reading of 77 barometric pressure, and was thinking that the wiring pinouts are different between the 3400 and 3500 map sensors so if anyone can help me out with a wiring diagram it would be much appreciated, and the last thing is now im getting a bad maf sensor code and am not sure if its linked to the map being screwed up. thanks for any help!

    Use your stock MAP sensor.

That's odd. I'm running the 3500 map No problems. I just matched up the colored wires. Green/green, gray to gray. I think the last wires didn't match black/orange but are the same. Make sure you soldered them on and used heatshrink. But you could test with your old MAP to see if the 3500 one is just broke...

The MAF code no idea. Maybe you have some sort of vacuum leak or something related if you are getting MAF and MAP codes?? Nothing contaminated the MAF did it? Oil from a K&N filter or dirt?
