  • The MAP question...

Any idea which MAP sensor would be best to use in my situation? I've got a 1990 Beretta GT, engine is trash, MAP is on the firewall. It's the 3.1 MPFI. I have another 3.1 MPFI to drop in it but the MAP is mounted on the rear of the upper plenum. I assume that if either will plug into the GT's wiring harness that either would work. Maybe this isn't a MAJOR problem, but I always like to be sure before I start working. Thanks in advance.

This is a no-brainer. Doesn't matter. Use what you got or can make work with. Closer to manifold in theory would have quicker response. But probably doesn't make a difference other than less tube to run and have develop a crack at some point....
