The pieces are coming together, one at a time.

    Fuel rail:

    Heads:

    Lower intake manifold:

    Plenum:

Plenum inlet (and can someone point out which one is the iac and which is the tps? :\)

And something that's bothering me: the inlet on the fuel rail. Is this normal or is it cracked?

Also have the exhaust manifolds+xover pipe and all, but didn't take pics of those yet.

Dave have you considered an oil catch can for the PCV line? I always disconnect mine because I don't like the oil film that ends up in the intake and eventually baked onto the top of the valves.

I'm going to connect the PCV line to the filter inlet ahead of the turbo though because of the importance of keeping the crank case aerated, I also recall reading something about a positive effect on ring sealing also being associated with a proper functioning PCV system.

The last 2 pics don't come through. You will also need the cover for the thermostat.

On the throttle body, there are 2 sensors. One that has the FLAT PLUG is the IAC. The one that has the ROUND PLUG is the TPS.

The connectors for those 2 sensors should be the same in your car now. In my 3100 swap, I just lengthened the 2 connectors wires, and they plugged right in and worked. In fact, I think the 3100 uses the same IAC as the 2.8, but the TPS is different even though it is wired the same, and uses the same connector (it is just mounted a little differently.

If you fix those last 2 pics, I can take a look to see if whatever you was point out was cracked. Also, for your fuel lines, you can get the quick connect fittings from any parts store. When I go to Napa to pick up my parking brake cable, I will get the part numbers for you.

The IAC is missing in your picture... Its on the TB. Below that is the TPS.

The thing on the plenum to the right with 2 wire plug is the evap canister purge solenoid.

the iac is missing in the pic. That hole in the top of the pic, that is where the IAC goes. The TPS is under it (just as IsaacHayes said).

As for the last pic, I can't tell what it really is. Try to get a pic further out. I guess I need to see just where on the fuel rail you are talking about so I can either tell, or get a pic of what it is suppose to look like.

Alright. I was wondering though, if you look inside the hole, it appears as if something is there but broken (if you get what I'm saying). I'm asking if that should be there or not.

Can't really see it well. I'm guessing it's just sharp metal from machining? But like I said I can't see it well.

I see what you are talking about now. I don't think there is anything wrong with it, but once I can get over to my mothers (where my engine is being stored), I will pull off that line and take a look in there. I think it is just part of the mouting boss for the injector, and just the way it is machined. Better safe than sorry.

I need to get over there anyways, so as soon as I can, I will check for you.

The one you have is normal. I dug out my spare 3400 fuel rail today, and took a look at it. It is the same as yours. Here is a pic of it.

                                Another question:

Can I assemble the UIM/LIM/heads, so they're all in one piece, before putting it on the block?
