Can this be done? Has anyone ever attempted to swap a 5spd from the Grand Am 4cyl into another N-Body that has V6 and auto? Is this swap even possible? Would like to have a 5spd in my Malibu.

it is possible. the tranny would need to come from a 2.2l cavalier/sunfire as the 2.4l tranny in the n-body wont bolt to the v6. basicly get everything from the 4 cyl n-body (clutch master and hose, axles, mount, shifter, cables, console, ect). i will warn you, going with a pre 2000 isuzu tranny isnt a great idea. they are weak and are notorious for blowing diffs up. a better idea would be a 2000+ 2.2l getrag, but that may complicate the swap.
