  • 2000 GAGT wont stay alive

i have a 2000 grand am gt. 3.4 v6. It is having issues staying "alive." At first i thought it might be a vacuum leak from my rear valve cover sense i change the intake set up. but it wasn't. It idles normal around 700 to 800rpm. it will dip to down to 400 and when it does, the intake starts hissing so loud as if the throttle was open all the way. it will sometimes rev itself back up to about 2500rpm and idle rough for a little bit more or just cut out. i have checked my vacuum lines, MAF sensor, and plugs. I am clue less on whats going on.

(don't know if it matters, but i have the exhaust straight piped. no cat or res. but the downstream o2 sensor is connencted. i ran like this for about 2 weeks now and had no problems and then 2 days ago it started acting up.)

    i am throwing no codes.

    thanks

well i checked both of those and there fine. but my friend told me to diconnect me ecu. so i did. plugged it back in and now everything is working great. so i think by pulling on the wiring harness there was a loose wire or by pulling it apart i cleaned the connections. i don't get it.
