Well, my swap is going good so far. I picked up a 3400 last Sat and went to pick-n-pull sun and busted my ass pulling parts I didn't need because I'm to stoopid to look in the trunk of my car. My father-in-law picked up a 96 Z26 at an auction for $200 for me with no engine in it. From what I gathered the previous owner was going to do a 3400 swap because most of the parts that need to be kept to do the swap were still there, some of them in the trunk. So today I look in the trunk of the car to see whats left to get and there are all the same parts I just spent $60 and 4 hours of my day off pulling out of a junk car. Thats what I get for not checking first. I knew there were parts back there I just couldn't remember what. The good news is it looks like the only thing I'ma have to swap is the alternator bracket and have a down pipe made.

I'm glad its a 96 too because theres allot less crap to swap over. I can almost pop this thing right in. So is the DHP tuner worth it? I figured I'd run it until I put in a 5 speed and just go aftermarket ecu. But if DHP can do that for me without swaping computers I'm there. I'll see if I can get my Engine Management teacher to let me bring it into school and dyno tune it with a class or something.
